Denim Guide

Denim sizing can be confusing, but we promise it doesn’t need to be.

If your jeans are sized in inches, the number generally refers to your waist measurement. Your ideal size may vary depending on the rise, stretch and cut of the denim.

Rigid denim has little to no stretch and may feel firm when first worn. If you are between sizes or prefer a little extra room, we recommend sizing up.

Stretch denim is generally more forgiving. Choose your usual size unless otherwise noted in the product description.

Kids’ Size Guide

Children’s sizing is generally based on age, but every little one grows differently. Height and body measurements will give you the best indication of fit.

For oversized pieces, we usually recommend choosing your child’s usual size. If they are between sizes or you would like extra growing room, size up.

Please check individual product descriptions for style-specific guidance.

To measure your foot, stand on a piece of paper and mark the tip of your longest toe and the back of your heel. Measure the distance between the two points.

If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up unless the product description says otherwise.

How to Measure

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level and comfortably snug.

Waist

Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above your belly button.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Measure from the top of your inner leg down to your ankle, or measure the inside leg of a pair of pants you already love.

Our Brand Fit Notes

Every brand has its own little sizing personality. This section will help you compare your usual size across the labels we stock.

SSAINT
Sizing varies between fitted and deliberately oversized styles. We include specific fit recommendations on each product page wherever possible.

FAR MER
Many styles have an intentionally relaxed or oversized silhouette. Choose your usual size for the intended fit or size down for something neater.

Lioness
Generally true to size, although fitted and structured pieces may feel more tailored. If you are between sizes, check the individual product measurements or contact us.

Feather & Noise
Generally true to AU sizing. Relaxed styles may offer a little more room, while denim and structured pieces can vary by design.

By Frankie
Many pieces are designed with a relaxed, playful silhouette. Check the individual listing for garment-specific fit advice.

Kids’ Labels
Sizing varies between brands, particularly with oversized and unisex styles. Choose your child’s usual size for the intended fit or size up for extra growing room.

Between Sizes?

For relaxed tops, knits and oversized pieces, choose your usual size for the intended look or size down for a neater fit.

For fitted dresses, tailored pieces and rigid denim, sizing up is usually the safer option if you sit between sizes.
